STATE STATE PRESIDENT VISITS BINH DINH AND HUNG THINH CORPORATION'S PROJECT IN HAI GIANG PENINSULA - QUY NHON

On February 15, State president Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the delegation visited and worked with Binh Dinh province on the situation of implementing missions in 2021 and key tasks in 2022. In the afternoon of the same day, the State president also visited Hung Thinh Corporation's project in Hai Giang peninsula - Quy Nhon, and at the same time encouraged the Corporation's officers and employees to try to build the project in a successful manner, work together with the locality to realize the vision of bringing Quy Nhon tourism to Asian level.

 
According to Tien Phong Newspaper, reporting on socio-economic development, Chairman of People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province Nguyen Phi Long said: In 2021, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, especially despite the impact of Covid-19 pandemic, the province's socio-economic situation continued to maintain its growth and development momentum, in which 15/19 targets were reached or exceeding the set plan. In 2022, Binh Dinh province aims to adapt safely, flexibly, control the pandemic effectively and turn tourism into a key economic sector of Binh Dinh.

 
News from Thanh Nien newspaper said that according to Mr. Long, tourism was identified as a key economic sector of Binh Dinh. The number of domestic tourists, especially international tourists to Binh Dinh, had been increasing day by day. Many domestic airlines have built plans to organize international flights from Japan, Korea, China,... to Binh Dinh. Recently, Phu Cat Airport had officially welcomed the first international flight from Korea.

Leaders of Binh Dinh province proposed and recommended that the Party and the State’s leaders paid attention to direct the construction of Phu Cat Airport into an international airport. At the same time, soon there was a plan to invest in the construction of Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway project with a length of 160km, creating a strategic breakthrough in infrastructure to promote socio-economic development in the South Central region and Central Highlands.

 
According to Thanh Nien newspaper, speaking for direction at the meeting, State president Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised and highly appreciated the great efforts of leaders, officials and people of Binh Dinh province for gaining many outstanding achievements, becoming a new destination for domestic and foreign investors and tourists.

 
In addition to developing the processing and manufacturing industry associated with local strengths, the State president suggested that Binh Dinh province should set an objective of turning Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh into a tourist destination in Asia.

In the afternoon of the same day, the State president also visited the project of Hung Thinh Corporation in Hai Giang peninsula - Quy Nhon. The project has a scale of 1,000 hectares with total investment of more than VND 47,000 billion in phase 1, of which more than VND 5,000 billion was invested in many preferred work items. This complex is expected to become the busiest tourist, resort and smart commercial center, gathering a series of impressive utilities such as water music complex, 5-star hotel, 18-hole golf course designed by Greg.
